Arunodaya University Pays Tribute To Women Scholars At 4th Convocation On International Womens Day

During the 4th convocation ceremony at Arunodaya University on International Women's Day, eight female students were honored with gold medals. Over 300 graduates and postgraduates received their degrees at the event. Prof Saket Kushwaha, Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University, attended as the chief guest and urged students to utilize their knowledge for the betterment of society. He commended the young talents of Arunachal Pradesh for their exceptional potential. Prof R.P Sharma, Director of NIT Jote, served as the guest of honour, inspiring students to strive for success and refrain from antisocial behaviour. Dr Father Jose Karmullifr, Principal of Don Bosco College, attended as a special guest and presented the gold medallists with their awards.

Among those present was state liaison officer Dr AK Mishra. The convocation featured an oath-taking ceremony during which degree recipients pledged to maintain the dignity and integrity of their professions. The gold medal-winning women later spoke with India Today NE, highlighting the significance of education and extending International Women's Day greetings. The ceremony commemorated the students' diligence and commitment, acknowledging that they will apply their acquired knowledge to benefit their communities, state, and nation through their achievements. Together with degree holders, the Director led an oath-taking ceremony in which participants solemnly vowed to uphold professional dignity, integrity, and honour for both education and the nation.

Arunodaya University was founded in 2014 under The Arunodaya University Arunachal Pradesh Act 2014 (Act No. 13) in accordance with Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 with a mission statement: "Your future our mission."
