Technical Courses

Technical education is an academic and vocational training of students for the emerging workforce, who are well-equipped to handle jobs in applied science and modern technology. Different from vocational education which targets on technical skill base, technical education is more applied to understanding and solving problems in fields like agriculture, business administration, computers and data processing, education, environmental and resource management, graphic arts and industrial design, and health and medicine. Jobs that are usually occupied by the graduates of technical education programs belong to the higher skilled craft level but down the scientific or engineering professions level. These people are techies who are called technicians. Technical education is different from professional education which mainly covers the theories and principles in various fields such as science, engineering, law, and medicine. It provides students with skill sets required by given employment positions, holding a balance between theoretical education and practical experience at industrial or commercial sites.
