IIM Kashipur secured a rank among the Top 20 Indian Management Schools in India

IIM Kashipur, a premium Indian Management Institute, has secured 19th rank among the top 50 Management Institutes in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (2023). Approx. 8,600 colleges participated in the NIRF, wherein IIM Kashipur became the only IIM to make it into the Top 50 in NIRF-ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements).

The National Institutional Ranking Framework was established in 2016 to rank educational institutions based on objective criteria and thereby promote competitive excellence in the institutions. The NIRF framework assesses institutions on five vital parameters: teaching, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception. NIRF rankings reflect academic trust in an institute. Their surveys help parents in understanding an institute's academic excellence and industry accolades.

IIM Kashipur was established in 2011 and has been providing academic excellence in management education since then. Its unwavering pursuit of innovation and academic distinction has set the institute apart from the leading management institutes in the country. These achievements have made the institute the most preferred choice by management professionals.

Apart from securing 19th rank in NIRF, IIM Kashipur has also bagged 28th rank in IIRF Ranking (2024) and is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and EMFD Quality Improvement System.

The institution strives to achieve distinction in management education by using innovative teaching methods, fostering top-notch quality research, and implementing sustainable leadership practices.

The Dean of Academics, Professor Mala Srivastava, said that the institute is working on improving the teaching quality, and research practices. She also mentioned that the institute improved from the 33rd rank in 2021 to the 19th rank in 2023. She also affirms that the institute will perform exceptionally well in the coming years, as it aims to rank among India's top 10 management institutes.

Furthermore, Professor Mala Srivastava attributes this success to the institute's efforts in excelling at research, providing stellar placements, and offering a best-in-class learning environment.
