Learning Pedagogy�

Students get access to high-quality printed books and online digital formats of Self Learning Material (SLM). Online digital SLM is included in the course fee, so students do not need to pay extra for it. It is also posted in the student login, allowing for hassle-free access at any time and from any location./p>

The students will have access to the largest Online/Digital Library in Central India, which includes the National Digital Library (NDL), Developing Library Network (DELNET), and NPTEL, in addition to Self Learning Materials (SLM).

Additionally, students will receive online academic support. Free study materials are available online through the website or ERP. But you can order printed books (SLM) by paying INR 1000 each semester.

The study material is available online for students to download and save. There will be PCP (Personal Contact Programme) conducted for students at Kalinga University Campus which will be provided to them by two modes:

1. Per Semester � 15 days
2. Every Sunday during each semester

Eligibility & Duration

• After 12^th, BA is one of the most popular courses. The course duration is of 3 years with 6 semesters which covers many subjects during its study period.

Scholarships at Kalinga University

• The Kalinga University merit scholarship is given to deserving students based on how well they performed in senior secondary school.

• Kalinga University also offers scholarships to students in special categories.
• The following are some of the ways that Kalinga University gives scholarships towards the cost of tuition:
  1. Candidates who received an overall grade point average of over 90% in class 12 will be given a scholarship worth 75% of the tuition.
  2. Candidates will receive a 50% tuition scholarship if they obtain an overall grade point average of 75% in class 12
  3. Candidates who earned 60% to 75% of the possible points in their class 12th grade will receive a grant for 25% of the tuition
  4. Candidates who fall within one of the following categories will receive a scholarship worth 25% of the tuition: SC, ST, OBC, Wards of Ex-Servicemen, or One of the Siblings
  5. Additionally, 50% of the tuition is covered through scholarships for female students and physically challenged students.

Admission & Payment�

Application & Admission Process:

• Visit www.idekalinga.ac.in, the website of the Institute of Distance Education at Kalinga University.
• Enter the information requested under (Apply Online) and submit.
• Upon entering the information, a link and log in information will be sent to the registered email id and mobile device (mobile number and e-mail ID as provided by the student, while filling details as stated in Point 2).
• By clicking on the link Admission Form will get open, student needs to provide all the required details as suggested.
• Then students will be prompted for �Fee Payment� after submitting the application form. Fees can be paid using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net-banking, and Or PayTm.
• Next, students will ask to submit copies of admission / verification eligibility documents.
• Once the paperwork has been examined and the fees have been received by the University, students� admission will be confirmed. It may take this process 7 to 10 working days. A letter of admission and an email of confirmation will be sent to the students. Information about student login will also be included in the email.
• With the given credentials, students will be able to access information about the programme, the syllabus, study resources, video lectures, and other things.

Exam & Evaluation

As per the university's policy, Kalinga University will oversee the semester-end exams for all of the online courses

Theory and practical questions are both included in the exam framework. The term-end exams are given a 70% weight, while internal help will receive a 30% weight. Students must complete all exams to be passed in their domain.

Students must achieve at least 33% of their overall grades, including final exams and internal assessments.

�

The overall percentage each student must achieve in all subjects is at least 36%.
