Manipal Academy of Higher Education MAHE Hosts Panorama 2024 for Online Learners

Manipal (Karnataka) [India], June 25: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) organized its first-ever in-person event, ‘Panorama 2024,’ exclusively for students enrolled in its online degree and certificate programs. Held at the MAHE campus in Manipal, the event brought together over 300 students from various parts of the country, representing programs like MBA, MSc Business Analytics, MSc Data Science, PGCP Business Analytics, and PGCP Logistics & Supply Chain Management. The day-long event took place from 9 AM to 5 PM.

‘Panorama 2024’ was designed to foster both personal and professional connections among online learners, many of whom are working professionals from diverse locations. The event featured a series of activities aimed at encouraging interaction, networking, and collaboration among attendees.

Dr. Manojkumar Nagasampige, Director of the Directorate of Online Education at MAHE, welcomed the students and thanked them for making the journey to attend the event. “This is our first in-person gathering for online students, and I am confident that you will leave the campus with lasting friendships and invaluable connections,” he stated.

Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, Pro Vice Chancellor of Technology & Science at MAHE, emphasized the importance of such events in the academic journey of online learners. “Panorama represents a major milestone for our online students, offering them a unique opportunity to meet their peers in person and build valuable networks,” he noted.

Dr. P Giridhar Kini, Registrar at MAHE, highlighted the benefits of online education for working professionals, saying, “Online degrees offer immense opportunities, providing flexibility and quality education. You have made a great decision by choosing MAHE for your online education, and we are thrilled to support you in this journey.”

The event also celebrated the top performers from the first and second batches of online programs, recognizing their outstanding academic achievements. A panel discussion titled “Smart Businesses: Revolutionizing Modern Businesses with AI” featured insights from industry and educational leaders, including Prof. Richa Hinde, Prof. Sudarshan Acharya, Dr. Asha Kamath, Mr. Arun Vatsa, and Prof. Gang Li.

Throughout the day, students had the chance to engage with faculty members, discussing their academic and professional journeys. The event concluded with captivating performances by both faculty and students, followed by a guided tour of the MAHE campus.
