An aggregate of a minimum of 50% of students must have to obtain.
Candidates for this course can come from a variety of backgrounds, including Science, Arts & Humanities, Commerce, Business Administration, and Business Management.
Students from the reserved category should obtain an aggregate of 45%.
The minimum graduation requirement for students from all streams is a 10+2+3 year bachelor's degree with mathematics as a subject in the 10+2 level and a minimum overall grade point average of 50% (45% for reserved categories.

Duration of Course:

MCA is a two-year course that is comprised of 4 semesters. The maximum duration to complete this program can be extended till 2 years more .

Application & Admission Process:

Step 1 - Candidates need to visit the website www.onlineManipal.com to fill out the application form.

Step 2 – Students are required to pay the registration fee of INR 500/- while submitting the form.

Step 3 – Students are required to upload the required details as per the application form such as ID proof, Address Proof, Educational Certificates, etc.

Step 4- Once the student submits the documents, they will be notified by SMS, call, or email of the confirmation or further clarification.

Step 5 – In case of any issue pertaining to filling out the application form students can reach out to their counselors for the required support in submission of the application form.

Step 6- Students are required to provide correct and updated details with required documents as per the due date.

Proof of address – Aadhaar card, passport, voter’s ID, gas bill, bank statement, post-paid mobile statement

Graduation mark sheet (for PG students)

Exam & Evaluation

Manipal online university examinations will be held online through remote proctoring. A proctor will monitor students during the examination. Students can sit for exams in the privacy and security of their own homes. To take the examinations, a student must have access to a laptop or desktop computer with a working webcam that is linked to the internet. The photo admission card issued for appearing in the term-end theory exams will contain all the information regarding the examination schedule.

The assessment system was designed, created, and applied in a fair and rigorous manner to bring out students’ greatest qualities for a demanding job. Both continuous evaluation and the term-end test will be used to evaluate the performance of the students.

The theory part is assessed based on the assignments and term-end examinations. The assessment ratio for TEE is 70:30. TEE will be comprised of descriptive and multiple-choice type questions. A student must score at least 40% in assignments and TEE to be declared as a pass.
